Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to DAAR EL-MAKRIFAH: Journal of Islamic Religious Education must comply with the journal's focus, scope, and author guidelines. Manuscripts are required to contain scholarly novelty or academic contributions relevant to the field of Islamic religious education. Authors must also ensure that their manuscripts are free from any form of plagiarism. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to use plagiarism detection software prior to submission. The editorial team will likewise conduct plagiarism screening using dedicated software.
All submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process by at least two (2) qualified reviewers in the field of Islamic religious education. The review process follows a Double-Blind Peer Review system, in which both the authors’ and reviewers’ identities remain confidential to ensure objective assessment. Reviewed manuscripts will be returned to the authors for revision according to the reviewers’ comments. Authors are expected to submit the revised version within two weeks after receiving the revision request. The final decision regarding article acceptance is determined by the editorial board based on the reviewers’ evaluation.
In accordance with the journal’s publication ethics, the entire review process is carried out confidentially and professionally until the manuscript is ready for publication.
The sequence and schedule of article publication are determined by the Editor-in-Chief, considering factors such as submission date, the geographical diversity of authors, and the thematic issue being published.
