DAAR EL-MAKRIFAH: Journal of Islamic Religious Education is dedicated to publishing scholarly works that contribute to the development, innovation, and transformation of Islamic education. The journal emphasizes integrative approaches that combine Islamic teachings with modern academic perspectives and contemporary methodologies.
The scope of the journal covers innovation in Islamic religious education, including the development of teaching methods in madrasahs, pesantrens, and other educational institutions, as well as contemporary pedagogical models that integrate Islamic and modern knowledge. It also highlights interdisciplinary approaches in Islamic education, particularly the integration of Islamic values into curriculum design and educational practices.
Furthermore, the journal focuses on character and spiritual development, exploring strategies to foster morality, spirituality, and holistic growth of students in both formal and non-formal education. Studies on the strategic role of pesantrens and madrasahs in shaping future generations are also within the journal’s focus, along with discussions on institutional challenges and opportunities in the era of globalization and cultural diversity.
